However this new installment is striving to alter that.

Here comes the latest entry in a long-running combat FPS franchise frequently positioned as a more realistic response to the CoD series.

The title has seldom managed to match its top rival in aspects of units sold or gamers, but evidence points to the latest version could narrow the difference.

A preview weekend enabling gamers a shot to experience the game not long ago broke records, and the hype leading up to its release has been huge.

However the project is still a big gamble for publisher the gaming giant, which has allegedly spent vast amounts of money making it.

Reporters have communicated to some of the makers to discover how they expect it will be profitable.

Production Crew and Company Collaboration

A total of four studios have been working on the game under the Battlefield Studios banner.

This includes veteran developer Dice, based in Sweden, California's Motive developers and the Canadian studio in the Great White North.

The fourth, the UK studio, is based in England.

Rebecka Coutaz is the studio head of the two continental teams, and shares with reporters that, in respect of what it's providing users, "this new game is probably unmatched."

One of those takeaways was to engage players participating early, and the developers launched exclusive fan playtests in recent months.

This "response was explosively encouraging," comments she.

A further omitted element from the previous installment was a solo experience, which has been restored for this release.

The UK studio creative lead Fas Salim is the one responsible for "making sure those stages are as enjoyable and interesting as can be for the players."

Despite claims that the scale of the project had put a strain on the multiple developers working together globally to develop the project, he is optimistic about the work.

"Working with varied backgrounds, varied heritages, it's a very fascinating setting to be involved in every day," he shares.

"This entire strategy has been something new but also truly thrilling because we are working with team members from around the globe."
