Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
