Cameron Norrie secured the most important success of his professional journey by coming back from a early deficit to defeat world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz in three hard-fought sets in the second round of the Paris Masters.

While he had before beaten Alcaraz on two separate matches, this win marks Norrie's initial victory over a reigning world top-ranked player.
